The Enterprise – 27th November 2010

And the band played on….for a little bit.
After getting to know the roads around The Enterprise pretty well, we finally managed to park outside only to find out that its all permits and running up to 11pm! Luckily we could unload our stuff & then find a free parking space in another road.
Once inside all went well. JD was a little worried because the kit only had one rack tom, but the engineer Cliff disappeared and came back with an extra tom, no hassles. Sound check was cool and we just sat back until we had to go on. There was a good crowd of people when when played and it appeared most people were enjoying the set (we certainly were). After we played the last song we were told we could play another since The Beta Rays hadn’t turned up. Unfortunately we haven’t got a massive collection of songs (yet!) but we played what we had. Although this was a mellower song it appeared to go down well. Its times like this that you wish you had loads of extras on standby because I know we could have quite happily played on for a lot longer.
Also playing on the night were: Dead Cannons, Dusty Rosko, The Golden Retrievers and Nikki Murray
Many thanks go to Nic for turning out some great photo’s. He had previously said he wouldn’t be able to bring his camera this time. But not being content to let it rest there, he used the iPhone app Hipstamatic to grab some great shots.
