Laziness is Not a Crime!!
…but it’s not very useful.
So it has been a few weeks since our gig at the Famous Three Kings and nothing has been said. Was it that bad?
No not at all, we’ve just been a little slack. It was a pretty cool gig. Interestingly sound check for all bands was just before you played. Not too sure if I’m a big fan of that method, just seems that you go on and start faffing around while everyone is waiting for you to start. No one seemed phased about it, so maybe its just me. The bonus is you don’t have to arrive too early.
We tried out a new song “Jack Chambers”. The start wasn’t completely as it should have been, partly because I forgot how the rhythm went. Got the correct notes though. By the time everything kicked in for the verse I had remembered. It was like I was just playing around with the intro as if I knew what was going on all along…not anymore! 🙂 This song got a good reaction which is a bonus because at the moment its a personal favourite.
All in all everything was all good. Many thanks to the engineer for making sure we had a great sound. Many thanks to everyone who came down to make it a great night.
