“F**king great set guys!”

Cliff the engineers’ words when we finished. Happy at that reaction? Just a tadd! 🙂

To begin with it looked like it could be a tricky night. A lot of people had replied that they couldn’t make it, going away for the bank holiday etc. There was also the  UEFA Champions League Final being shown in the downstairs bar. But we of little faith…

The set got a great reaction and it was cool to notice that the lights where altered to give a nice mellow atmosphere. We had written a few new tunes (Awake and The Call) which we were excited about and it was great to see them get a good reception. Overall we were pretty chuffed and it is something we’d like to try more of, with JD on some percussion or a stripped down kit.

Also playing on the night were Steve White And The Protest Family, Th’Sheridans, and a guy from a band but I can’t remember the name. Check them out if you can, they all played excellent sets.
